Friendships are forged, relationships begin and end, businesses are born. It's these seemingly simple interactions that can make the car (and your commute) feel a bit more magical. The Community Spotlight series pairs real audio with animation to bring these passenger and driver stories to life, helping to foster community and empathy among Lyft users.

The aesthetic and vibe of each video is heavily influenced by the location of each story. In this piece, we borrowed the look of "ghost signs" — old, hand-painted advertisements preserved on buildings you can find prominently throughout the Richmond, Virginia area.
